Irradia Energía collaborates with Elecnor to obtain the Breeam certificate for the construction of the former Cruzcampo factory.
The renovation of the two main buildings (Mosaic and Palomar) will convert the emblematic brewery into a Beer Museum. The Mosaico building will house the Cruzcampo Space, conceived as “a factory of experiences”, which will house the hotel school and a small brewery. The Palomar building, with four floors and 2,000 m², will house an exhibition hall, a coworking room and an auditorium.
Sustainability certifications have become a seal of guarantee and quality for all types of buildings. Breeam is a best practice guide for the design, construction and maintenance of sustainable buildings based on the analysis of several criteria, such as the environmental impact of the construction site and waste management.
The Cruzcampo project will be one of the first industrial projects to be Breeam certified at the finished building stage.
Irradia Energía, in collaboration with Elecnor, has been in charge of managing, during the execution of the facilities, the evaluable aspects to obtain this certificate, controlling that it is a sustainable work with low environmental impact and responsible waste management.
