Integraciones Desproave is one of the companies of the Desproave Group, currently this area of activity has two poultry breeding complexes.
They have opted for self-consumption
self-consumption of electricity in their facilities
and have relied on
Irradia Energía
for the installation of the photovoltaic installations in both livestock farms. Irradia Energía is an Andalusian company of reference in the sector, certified and with long experience in this type of installations, both in assembly and future maintenance, which will guarantee the proper functioning of the systems throughout their useful life.
These installations make it possible to supply more than 50% of the farm’s annual electricity consumption, which means great energy savings, improving the farm’s profitability, both from an economic and environmental point of view, contributing to the reduction of the carbon footprint of this livestock activity. Between the two facilities, the emission of around 50 tons of CO2 per year will be saved, replacing conventional generation with clean, green and renewable energy. The energy produced will exceed 160,000 kilowatt hours per year.
The electrical consumption of the ventilation and lighting equipment in an industry of this size is high. reduction of energy costsThis has a significant impact on the company’s competitiveness, which means that the investment is amortized in a short period of time.
Irradia Energía and its engineering team studies, designs and sizes the installation in order to optimize the overall system so that the customer can offset the savings against the cost of the solar system itself. The photovoltaic modules are guaranteed for 25 years and have a useful life of more than 30 years. Under normal conditions, amortization occurs in about 5 years, representing long-term savings of more than 6 times the cost of the investment.
Integrations Ships Desproave each housing 40,000 broilers in each cycle, 144 REC brand photovoltaic modules have been installed in each house for a total installed power of 50 kilowatt peak per house.
In both Las Medianas and La Pastora, the photovoltaic panels have been arranged in two rows. Electrically, they are connected in series of 18 modules, which means an operating voltage of about 750 volts in direct current. Two INGECON SUN 20TL inverters, INGETEAM brand, transform the direct current into alternating current. The inverters inject the energy generated into the grid inputs of the general installation that feeds the halls, auxiliary equipment and the pumping motors of the wells.
The photovoltaic installation is monitored remotely through a mobile or web application, being able to read in real time the energy generated, the self-consumed energy, and the exchange with the grid, as well as the performance of the whole.
Irradia Energía has been working for more than twelve years in the renewable energy sector and wants to accompany its customers in the energy transition that is currently taking place in the world. It is aware that it will continue in the sector for many years to come, so it is committed to the innovation, quality and professionalism of its team.
The ecological conversion and in particular the self-consumption facilities offer a great opportunity to optimize costs, take advantage of indigenous resources such as the sun, and bet on the long term system where the consumer is also a generator of its own energy. Where the customer contributes to making energy generation cleaner and more efficient and less dependent on the outside.
Irradia Energía wants to add value to its customers by putting its experience, proximity and commitment at their service to help them be part of this transformation.
The future is here and there is much to do. In Irradia Energía we are committed to turn the sun into your opportunity.
