Irradia Ingeniería Solar has been awarded the contract through a public tender for the construction of the 192 kWp rooftop photovoltaic installation for self-consumption of the Political Building B of the Provincial Council of Malaga.
The building in question is an emblematic and representative building of the new Malaga architecture, designed by “Luis Machuca y Asociados Arquitectos”, which is composed of two large volumes, the first one destined to institutional dependencies and the other one aligned perpendicular to the coastline where the technical and administrative areas of the Provincial Council are integrated.
The photovoltaic installation to be installed will be fully integrated into the architectural space, for this purpose it will be mounted on a support structure in a coplanar arrangement, so that the panels are flush with the ground, without increasing the height of the building and without view from the exterior roads.
The estimated energy production will be 276,668 kW/h per year, which will cover at least 40% of the energy consumed by the building and reduce atmospheric emissions by 69 Tm CO2 equivalent.
The execution of this new contract will allow the inclusion of a new installation to the Company’s portfolio, reinforcing and consolidating Irradia Ingeniería Solar’s position as a solid and experienced company in the design, installation, operation and maintenance of photovoltaic plants.
