Irradia Energía in collaboration with Keyter Technologies starts the development of an innovative project called CONFORT FV.
The objective of CONFORT FV is the development of devices for direct coupling of photovoltaic solar energy in efficient air conditioning and DHW production equipment in the tertiary and domestic sector.
At present, refrigeration and air conditioning systems are undergoing major changes as a result of recent regulatory changes at European level. In addition, this equipment accounts for almost 65% of energy consumption in Europe, both in the residential and industrial sectors. That is why, together with the European Directive 2012/27/EU to reduce consumption by 20%, measures to save and improve energy efficiency are more than necessary.
In this context, the CONFORTFV project aims to provide a technological solution for the generation of air conditioning equipment that achieves the coupling of photovoltaic generation systems, achieving a lower energy consumption and that this comes directly from renewable sources. The solution proposed in CONFORTFV will respond in an innovative way to the technical and technological needs to achieve sustainability and energy independence in the residential and tertiary sectors, from the diversification of applications for photovoltaic technology.
The CONFORT FV project has received financial support from the CDTI (Centro de Desarrollo Tecnológico Industrial) in its INNTERCONECTA program and is also co-financed by the European Regional Development Structural Funds (ERDF), under the call for Regional Cooperation in R&D of the State Plan for Scientific, Technical and Innovation Research 2017-2020.
